The no-stoplight town's main attraction is its 18-hole championship public golf course and accompanying 3,200-acre residential community. When it opened, the Battlement Mesa course was ranked one of the Best Courses in America You Can Play by Golf Digest. The award-winning course draws golfers from all over for the great views, challenging greens and affordable rounds.
On site are fully furnished one- and two-bedroom suites for those spending the night. These renovated condominiums include access to amenities including a swimming pool, weight room, racquetball courts and an outdoor playground.
Visitors and locals alike enjoy area fishing, hunting, skiing, horseback riding, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, snowmobiling and climbing.
